The Atlas Pass v2 and v3 are a different proposition to the relatively easy to find v1. As things stand, according to the community on the No Man's Sky subreddit, the only known way to get blueprints for these is to repeatedly search Manufacturing Facilities on planet surfaces.

The No Man's Sky Atlas Pass v1 is the easiest of all the variants to get, and most players will acquire it on the way through the main story missions. You actually get it from an alien Gek named Polo, who lives on the Space Anomaly that you'll meet at various points through your intergalactic journey.

Pathfinder - A Signal Booster in a Korvax system could be used to find a blueprint by using the Colonial Outpost option. Travelling to the resulting Operations Centre and correctly solving the problem had a chance to net you the blueprint for the AtlasPass v3.

Where To Get Atlas Pass v2. The Atlas Pass V2 is not so easy to come by in No Man's Sky. They seem to only appear as random drops within Manufacturing Facilities and Operations Centers. These two sites are found by using a Bypass Chip at a Signal Scanner and searching for a Colonial Outpost.

AtlasPass v2 is a Constructed Technology and it works as a key, the player crafts it once and it allows infinite unlocks. It unlocks doors inside manufacturing facility and Operations centre. It can also unlock objects that require AtlasPass v1, which can be discarded by the player.

You only need to carry the Atlas Pass 3 to access anything. It's only really worth carrying to get a little more lore later in the game, if you're interested. You only technically need the 3rd in your inventory, it'll open the others.

Though Atlas' main blueprint is obtained from The Jordas Precept quest, he isn't actually quest-driven, as the quest story line doesn't directly involve him. Atlas is the only Warframe whose component blueprints are acquired from Archwing mission, and in turn the Archwing boss, Jordas Golem.

By attacking creatures in Atlas, you'll gain experience, even if you don't kill them. It doesn't matter if you're whacking away at them with a Spear or shooting with a bow. Your best chance is to make a bow, find a safe place to fight from, and shoot them from afar.
