What Happened In Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode #1?
Season 2, Episode #1 of Oshi no Ko begins with an introduction to Tokyo Blade, the hit action fantasy manga within the world of Oshi no Ko which is being adapted into a stage play that Aqua, Kana, and Akane will be taking part in. Aqua takes on the role of Touki while Akane takes on the challenging role of Sayahime, both of whom are the antagonists of the play.
Kana, on the other hand, is given the role of the peppy, energetic Tsurugi, the supporting character to the protagonist Blade, who is played by Taiki Himekawa, a talented stage actor. Despite his disheveled appearance, Taiki takes everyone by surprise at rehearsals with his enigmatic acting and stage presence. Himekawa is seen immersing himself into his character and his passion literally and metaphorically hits everyone watching him in the face, inspiring them to also do their best.
Meanwhile, Akane expresses her concerns about Sayahime's character being changed and oversimplified from the manga and struggles to get into the character or feel a proper connection with the role. Akane aspires to compete with Kana on stage, while Aqua, who although present at rehearsals, is occupied with his goal of getting closer to Touhiro Kindaichi, a founding member of Lala Lai, in the hopes of finding out more about Ai from him.
