Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Memorial Chapel. Burial will b3 in Riverside Cemetery. Minton, a lifelong resident of Macon, was member of Temple Beth Israel and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Alfred Mack. Survivors include her husband, M. B. Minton Jr. of Macon; two sons, Mack B.

Maude Calhoun Stewart, 75, of 1891 Fourth died Friday at her residence. Arrangements will be announced by Hutchings Funeral Home. Mrs. Pitts Mrs. Florence Pitts, 82, of 845 Curd died Thursday at her residence.

Arrangements will be announced by Randall Memorial Mortuary. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Judy Ford of Gray, Mrs. Georgia Pitts and Mrs. Lizzie Myers, both of Macon.

J. H. Lawson WARNER ROBINS John Henry Lawson, 87, of 213 Virginia Road, died Wednesday in a Dublin hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Union Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Warner Robins. Mr. Lawson, a native of Putnam County, lived in Florida for 50 years before moving to Warner Robins two years ago. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church of Lakeland, and was a master Mason. He was active in the American Legion and was a World War I veteran.

Survivors include two brothers, Daniel C. Lawson of Warner Robins, and King Soloman Lawson of Macon; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Watson Lawson of Warner Robins, and Mrs. Della M. Thomas of Perry.

Edward's Funeral Home of Ft. Valley has charge of ar- rangments. Mrs. Defore Services for Mrs. Annie Crosby Defore, 91, of 1934 Manson Road, who died Wednesday at her residence after a lengthy illness, will be held at 10 a.m.

Friday in Ft. Hill Cemetery. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements. Ephran Wright Services for Ephran M. "Chug" Wright, 75, of 3477 Mogul Road, who died Tuesday in a Macon hospital, will be held at 3 p.m.

Burial will be in Camp Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Sanford was a native of Bibb County and a member of New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mildred Booker of Macon. Local Feds Join Probe Of Air Base Federal authorities in Macon have joined the investigation of alleged fraud attempts at Robins Air Force Base. A number of civil service employes at Robins have been questioned by local federal agents, but none have been called before a federal grand jury. Asst. U.S.

Atty. Hale Almand acknowledged the local involvement in the investigation Thursday night, but described it as a "routine procedure" that is expected such a probe. Three Robins civil service employes were indicted in Oklahoma two weeks ago in a federal probe that could reach as many as 200 workers. Indicted on federal fraud charges were Norman Ellsworth Ott 27; Theodore King, 30, of 3862 Gadsen Drive; and Norma C. Ellis, 43, Warner Robins.

The three had been assigned to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma on temporary duty. The investigations here and at Tinker are based on two U.S. codes providing penalties of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both.
